Snow Closures

S3-S6 Pupils who have access to GLOW should visit the Biology Department Group. This has various homework activities which can be downloaded and completed for each unit.

Any pupil who has lost their GLOW username and/or password should do one of the following activities:

S3 – Open up the “What you need to know” sheets for Unit 1 Biosphere or Unit 2 Investigating Cells and use this and your Leckie & Leckie Success Guide, or Torrance Textbook, to find answers to all the statements which start, “Describe” or “Explain”. You can then use these sheets to construct a revision mindmap.

S4 – Open up the “What you need to know” sheets for Unit 1 Biosphere to Unit 5 Body in Action and use this and your Leckie & Leckie Success Guide to find answers to all the statements which start, “Describe” or “Explain”. You can then use these sheets to construct a revision mindmap.

S5/6 Intermediate 1: Carry on with notes and activities from the Textbook from where you left of in class.

S5/6 Intermediate 2: Use your learning log to complete the reading and activities from the Textbook from the section we are currently working on.

S5/6 Higher: Use your learning log to complete the reading and activities from the Textbook from the section we are currently working on. Take a look at relevant activities in Scholar.

S6 Advanced Higher: Read the next section of the Textbooks and complete relevant activities on Scholar.
