Speyside High is in the Moray town of Aberlour in the North East of Scotland.

Aberlour, officially named 'Charlestown on Aberlour' is a small town situated mid-way between Inverness and Aberdeen. Aberlour is in the Spey Valley beside the Cairngorm Mountains and only 20 miles away is the Moray Firth coastline.

Aberlour, a popular tourist destination is famous for it's two main industries - Shortbread and Whisky. The Walker family has been producing shortbread in Aberlour for over a century.
There are over 50 whisky distilleries within a 15 mile radius of Aberlour!

Aberlour is also famous for it's salmon fishing and the
Aberlour Orphanage (built in 1882, closed in 1967).
