Standard Grade Music
Listening Revision
You will have 6 revision sheets to help you plan your revision for your listening exam. They are:
- Melodic
- Harmonic
- Rhythm
- Structural
- Timbre
- Styles/Form
The revision sheets are laid out with boxes for you to tick. You can tick the boxes for the concepts you know. This should help you highlight the concepts you need to reinforce.
In addition to the notes in your jotter, there are resources available for you to borrow which will help you find out about the concepts you need to reinforce.

Please make sure that you practice your programme regularly over the holidays and in the weeks before your examination. If you have not already done so, time your programme to ensure that it lasts 4 - 6 minutes.
