Promoting Good Health is a high priority - Click Here Pupils will be given a smartcard to pay for meals. This is used instead of cash at the tills. If your child is eligible for free school meals their smartcard will then be automatically topped up every day so that they "buy" their meal exactly like everyone else in the canteen. You can claim free school meals for your child if you are receiving the following benefits: Income Support; Income Based Jobseeker's Allowance; Child Tax Credit, but not Working Tax Credit, and your annual income is less that £14,155 (as assessed by the Inland Revenue) You may also be eligible if you are an asylum seeker receiving support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999. Application forms are available from the school office. AFTER LUNCH After lunch pupils can walk freely around Aberlour but must not leave the school bounds at intervals. The school cannot take responsibility for pupils who leave the school grounds during lunchtime. Let us know if you want your child to remain within school bounds through lunch breaks. The School Library is open to all pupils at lunchtime. If the weather is good, we expect most pupils to stay outside the building to enjoy the fresh air.
