Staff Development

Programmes of in-service training and professional development opportunities for staff will be offered during in-service closure dates and at other times.

School priorities in staff development and training will be in accord with the school development plan.

Funds are available to meet approved individual staff requests to attend courses. Any member of staff wishing to make such a request should either see the Staff Development Co-ordinator or complete the appropriate school form which is available from the School Office and which is an Appendix to this handbook.

If you wish to attend a course offered within the Moray Council CPD Catalogue, accessible through "Bookit", please print off the page giving the course details and append it to the appropriately completed school form. The two documents should then be passed to the School Office together.
