Emergency Procedures

Please ensure that you are aware of the procedures that should be followed in the event of the fire alarm bell being sounded.  It rings in short repeated notes.  You should also be aware of your personal duties in the evacuation, checking and supervision arrangements.

These procedures are detailed in the Health and Safety section, as are those relating to illness or injury of pupils.

Please note that a winter weather emergency can create the need for a rapid closure of the school.  It is partly because of the need to have an accurate record of who is in the building in the event of an emergency, that staff must ensure that:

the School Office is aware of any occasion when they leave the building.
